The stores have been quite busy with wedding decorations and work. Various Notes. Mr. Olmstead, of John Coombs' Asy- lum street store, has bad several large wedding decorations. For one ho used apple blossom arches, which made a pleasing effect. Lane the Florist had an attractive window display rooontly. The window contained a bride in a wedding dress and a veil. She carried a shower bou- quet of white roses and sweet peas, while on her head were the customary orange blossoms. Some carefully select- ed furniture completed the picture. Tn the other window were many different brides' bouquets of various flowers. Mr. Lane said that his efforts have proved successful, for he has booked several orders for bouquets and decorations. George G. McClunic rejwrls that busi- ness is good. He has some fine flower boxes on the cornice of his store. J. Albert Brodrib has had some good window displays. His idea of combin- ing goldfish and flowers has produced a cool-looking window. The Spear & McManus Co. reports that business is satisfactory. The dis- play of palms and ferns is somewhat unusual.
