Marines with Force Reconnaissance Platoon, Maritime Raid Force (MRF), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) participate in an obstacle course during bilateral training with Philippine marine corps force reconnoissance marines during Philippine Bilateral Exercise (PHIBLEX) at Philippine Marine Base Ternate Sept. 19, 2013. PHIBLEX is a bilateral training exercise designed to demonstrate the United States and Republic of the Philippines commitment to mutual security and strengthen our long-term partnership, while ensuring the readiness of a bilateral force able to rapidly respond to regional humanitarian crises.
