Thelight falls on her fair hair and thebosom of her blue and white stripeddress. Behind her a few little picturesspot the luminous greenish-drab wall,and add an artistic tone to this hum-ble Brittany interior. On the left isa cook stove, with its tall pipe, andnear the latter hang a salt box andladle, while a cauldron rests on thefloor.
