Spc. Patrick Swink, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center combat medic, takes cover as he moves toward cries from a mass casualty scenario during the final field training exercise of a 10-Day 68W/EMT Sustainment Course taught by WRNMMC in Lorton, Va., Nov. 18, 2016. The course provided the fundamentals of Tactical Combat Casualty Care, from the point of injury through evacuation in a tactical environment. Completion of the joint course also satisfied all requirements, as prescribed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, for EMT re-certification.
