Pipes for pumping sand at the beach. The sand-pump dredger "Trael" of Hvide Sande, Denmark, pumps sand onto the beach via a pipeline. The sand comes from the deepening of the channel into Hvide Sande harbor. The pipes are stored behind the line of dunes. The sand is used to reinforce the north Sea cost to prevent that the waves dig into the dunes.
