The fastest elevator in Europe takes you to the Panoramapunkt viewing platform at Potsdamer Platz 1. From a height of 100 meter

The Panoramapunkt viewing platform is on the 24th and 25th floors of the Kollhoff Tower. Berlin architect Hans Kollhoff was a member of the international team of architects headed by master planner Renzo Piano that designed the nineteen buildings in the DaimlerChrysler district. With a height of 103 meters, the Kollhoff Tower is the tallest building in the DaimlerChrysler district. Like some of the other buildings, the Kollhoff Tower has a ceramic outer material. Nonetheless, with its dark peat-fired tiles it stands out from the rest and provides a contrast to the geometrical emphasis of the glass frontages of the neighboring tower blocks by Renzo Piano and Helmut Jahn. Together, the three buildings make a striking architectural statement at Potsdamer Platz
