Red Squirrel - Vantage point

There were three Red Squirrels visiting the bird feeder in Wild Brown Bear lodge near Lentiira, Finland. This one came too close and sat on top of the perch set up for birds to be photographed. He sat on top and was scanning the ground around the area for any nuts present to feed. In ancient day, red squirrel were extensively hunted in Finland for their pelts. Red Squirrel pelts were used as money before coinage.
