Amerigo Vespucci container ship. Worker carrying the hawsers (thick rope) used to moor the Amerigo Vespucci container ship. This is one of the largest container ships in the world (as of 2012). It measures metres long and can carry 14,000 tonnes of fuel, which allows a complete rotation of Hamburg - Shanghai - Hamburg, via the Suez Canal on one tank.
