AFFECTIONS OF THE VULVA 21 I K/r/i/taii/iasis need only be mentioned, aa it is an extremely rare-condition except among the coloured races, [t may affect the clitoris,the labia minora, or the labia majora, and extend to the perineum. It isapparently due to a chronic inflammation leading to obstruction of thelymphatics, and syphilis is said to be a common exciting cause. Of these the most frequent is the Bartholiniam Cyst.
