A blue Roman glass bowl with fluted decoration, 1st century, Hemispherical drinking vessel with slightly flattened base and vertical flutes widening towards the rim. The top edge ground ca. cm on the lathe, making the vessel evenly thick. Beautifully coloured, dark blue glass, consisting of several predominantly large shards glued together, professionally restored. Over 95% of the original substance existent. Diameter cm. Height cm.
