A pair of Russian epaulettes of a poruchik of the 16th division, between 1830 and 1855 Black fields, silver crescents, number "16." embroidered in silver. Metal stars in different colours, dark red lining (moth damage). Allegedly looted by English soldiers during the Crimean War. Also a pair of shoulder boards for enlisted men, brass buttons with Russian double-headed eagle, blue lining.
