Senior members of the Kansas Army National Guard and Chaplain Corps welcome Chaplain (1st Lt.) Jamilah Moss into the Chaplain Corps during a chaplain commissioning ceremony at the Lawrence Indian United Methodist Church in Lawrence, Kansas, Nov. 22, 2016. Moss, the first female chaplain in the Kansas Army National Guard, was also promoted to the rank of first lieutenant during the ceremony. She will serve as the chaplain of 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation Regiment in Topeka.
