Located on the eastern side of Portland, Dorset lies Church Ope Cove, a pretty secluded cove with a rocky beach.

Looking down on Church Ope Cove, a secluded cove on the east side of Portland, Dorset. The cove's relative seclusion and tranquil blue waters make it popular though not overly crowded. A rocky beach and steep stone step descent makes the cove less accessible than many, but well worth a visit. The cove is overlooked by the remains off the oldest castle on Portland, Bow and Arrow Castle.
