Radcliffe Square lies at the heart of historic Oxford. Centre-stage is taken by the round Radcliffe Camera; this distinctive building of Oxford University, England, was designed by James Gibbs in neoclassical style and built in 1737-1749 to house the Radcliffe Science Library. It is now part of the world-famous Bodleian Library. Here we see it backlit by low sun. The Gothic spires of All Souls College can also be seen on the right.
