He is owner ofthe Brookvale Herd of Jerseys, and before bis wifesdeath carried on a creamery business, making butter anddelivering it in New Britain, Conn. His barns burned in1897, but he erected a new barn across the road from thehouse, which combines all the latest improvements. Theelectric road cuts through his property. He has alwaysbeen prominently connected with the First CongregationalChurch, being secretary for a time, and afterwards was a member of the Committee elected to super-.
