A photograph taken by Lt. Geo. H. Lyon on February 21, 1919, depicts a section of 56th Street warehouse in New York City. The warehouse is filled with Kapok life belts of jacket type, around 500,000 of which were utilized by the Supplies Division. The image was approved by the censor on March 10, 1919.
