A Prussian cavalry officer's small-sword,2nd form,ca. 1770. Straight double-edged Type C blade,on both sides of the ricasso brass-inlaid eagle and Potsdam marks. Gilt brass hilt with fluted pommel cap,the grip wrapped in silver wire. Attached metal mesh sword knot. The blade lightly spotted,gilding rubbed. Length 91 cm. Included is an old suede sheath.
