KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (July 22, 2018) -- An Afghan Air Force crew chief of an UH-60A Black Hawk assigned to the 2nd Wing Afghan National Army at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, uncoils his communication cable during a preflight checklist on July 22, 2018. The Afghan air crew are trained to plan flying missions from briefing an air crew, lead a flying formation and route a flight path. The mission of TAAC-Air is to train, advise and assist Afghan partners to develop a professional, capable and sustainable Afghan Air Force.
