This new red fleshed cantaloupe is ideal for either the homegarden or for market. The rather elongatedfruits average 6 inches in length, 4| inchesthrough and weigh about 2 pounds each. Theflesh is red-orange, very thick, fine grainedand deliciously rich and spicy in flavor. Seedcavity remarkably small; the rind is thin buttough, color green closely interlaced with graynetting; ribs well arched. The vines arehealthy, vigorous and very productive.
