A C-17 Globemaster assigned to the 305th AMW is prepped for takeoff on May 18, 2022, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, The airframe was flown during the fini flight for Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Camerer. Camerer is a command pilot with more than 3,750 total flight hours and more than 745 combat and combat support flight hours in the C-17A and KC-135A/R/Q aircraft. The fini flight is an Air Force tradition marking pilots' departure from a unit, or the last time they fly an aircraft.
