It has stoodthe wear and tear of no fewer than six the north transept stands a large canopiedtomb of a knight and lady of the Lloyd family,who held the manor in the sixteenth century. Theseven kneeling daughters all wear the large, un-gainly head-dress of the time (yet vastly morebecoming than the pudding-basin and coal-heaveradornments of our day).
