Marines are treated with a meal during the Service Person of the Quarter ceremony at New Bern Golf and Country Club, New Bern, North Carolina, Dec. 8, 2022. Sgt. Katrin Thompson was recognized for her accumulated 80 hours of local community service at the Carteret County Humane Society; Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program 5k race; New Bern’s MumFest; Pruitt Health Care Senior Center; Craven County Clean Sweep and regularly donating at blood drives throughout Craven County.
