A protester dressed in a 'Black Lives Matter' t-shirt during the of demonstrators gathered in Reno a day before Columbus Day for the Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage against Colonialism. They created a chalk art mural to bring awareness to the violence inflicted on Indigenous communities and then marched to the University of Nevada and gathered in front of a statue of a local renown miner to voice their grievances with the mining industry.
