Torrington Place, London, August 12th 2016. Deliveroo is embroiled in a row over a new pay structure with its couriers as up to 100 workers and supporters stage a second protest outside the takeaway delivery company's HQ at Torrington Place in central London. Deliveroo couriers are self-employed, which means that they are not entitled to the national living wage, currently set at £ an hour. Some have suggested that the new structure, which will see workers paid £ per delivery, will make it hard for them to earn as much as they took home while on hourly pay rates.
