After we had made out several course cards apiece and had digested the newrules,— the old ones apparently having been like unto a grain of mustard-seed during thewarm summer,— we settled down to our real business in life, which was to pass judg-ment on William Shakespeare, his works. It is to be regretted, as long as he gave usso much to choose from, that he did not give us more. If he could have
