The lioness can barely move without stepping on her needy cubs MPUMALANGA, SOUTH AFRICA, ADORABLE IMAGES show three-month-old lion cubs so determined to get mums attention they pull her tail. Images taken from just 18 years away by the delighted photographer show the rowdy lion cubs playing together while mum rests before pulling her tail to get her involved in the action. These images were captured by wildlife photographer Gerald Hinde (79) from South Africa. Gerald captured the images in The Greater Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa on his Sony a9 with a 200/600mm zoom lens. Gerald loves the story these images tell and couldn?t help but capture the mischievous babies as they played with an exhausted mum. ?I?ve been following this pride for a number of years,? said Gerald. ?I found the pride early one morning when the cubs are most active and mum?s tails are a favourite target for fun. ?Mum?s tail is not usually pulled to this extent so it?s a bit of an unusual image. ?I was across the narrow portion of water some 18 yards from where the pride was resting. ?The cub pulling mum?s tail is my favourite shot. Its unusual and does tell so many stories in one image. ?Lion cubs are one of my favourite animals to ENDS
