Greater Mouse-eared Bats live in central and southern Europe, they have decreased markedly in the last decades. This individual is resting during its nocturnal hunts. They tend to rest more frequently during the night when the weather is cooler or when it rains, otherwise they spend more time flying and hunting. It is a relatively large bat.
