Men belonging to the Rebari caste are meeting to discuss about the community policy and solve arguments between each others.


Such a meeting is called a "panchayat" in Rebari are semi-nomadic shepherds living in western India, in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Staunch hindus, they believe they are the descendants of Shiva, one of the main hindu gods. Because they are still living in a traditional way, Indian authorities consider them as a backward community, a status which permit to have facilities in the fields of public employment and education.
