Elberta—Very large, skin golden yellow; whereexposed to the sun faintly striped with red; flesh yel-low, very fine grain, juicy, rich, sweet and splendidlyflavored; tree very prolific and presents a handsomeappearance and a more luxuriant growth than theChinese Cling, from which it is a seedling. It is a per-fect freestone and one of the most successful marketvarieties. This is truly a fine peach, noted for its large size andfine appearance. Ripens early in August. Mt. Rose—A variety of very great value, very pro-fitable for market and is steadily growing in large, roundish; skin whitish, nearly coveredwith light and dark rich red; flesh white, slightlystained at the stone, juicy and sweet.
