Coast Guard Helicopter Demonstrates Air-Sea Rescue with New Type of Harness. Out of the Sea -- Into the Picked out of the sea after grasping a new u-type harness dropped from the Aircraft, Coast Guardsman Carl A. Yanuzzi, Aviation Machinist's mate, is hauled aloft and is about to enter the cabin of a coast guard helicopter. The simulated rescue was made from the Coast Guard Air Station, Brooklyn, recently to test the effectiveness of the new harness in air-sea rescue. Coast Guard commander F. A. Erickson is at the controls of the Sikorsky, now winging back to land.
