Manchester Ashton canal - a wall of foam appears on the canal after a fire at a nearby chemical plant

A 30m (98ft) wall of foam has appeared along a Manchester canal . The foam appeared after a major chemical fire at Carbogen Amcis Ltd, Clayton, a mile away from Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Sunday. The foam has collected near locks on the Ashton canal near the Ethiad Stadium.
