A German flintlock rifle/shotgun combination, circa 1730 Newly blued, over-and-under round barrels with an eight-groove rifled bore and a smooth bore in 13 mm calibre with silver front sight on the upper side. The rifle barrel decorated with ornamental silver inlays and standing male figure. Florally engraved flintlock with movable powder pan chiselled on the side in the shape of a monster. Monogram "IVB" between the arms of the frizzen spring. Carved walnut full stock with horn nose and finely chiselled brass furniture.
