Red indianfish (Pataecus fronto), a prowfish with high dorsal fin over the entire back confluent with the caudal fin. Has no scales, but instead has a tough and sometimes lumpy skin that is regularly shed. Extremely well camouflaged; does not actively move around but instead lets itself sway with the surge. Feeds on shrimps and other crustaceans. They are found in southern Australian waters on both the east and west coasts. Attains 25 cms. North coast, New South Wales, Australia
