An imperfect dorsal vertebra; from the Oxford Clay ofWeymouth, Dorsetshire. The transverse processes andzygapophyses are wanting. This specimen agrees veryclosely in size with the dorsal represented in the accom-panying woodcut, which was referred by Phillips to 208 SATTROPTERYGIA. C. osooniensis. The dimensions of the centrum are :—length0,045 (1-75 inches), height 0,054 (2-12 inches), width2*55 inches ; the height from the base of the neural Fig. Cimoliosaurus (cf.) eurymerus.—1, anterior aspect; 2, right lateral aspect;S, prezygapophysis; 4, neural aspect of dorsal vertebra ; from the OxfordClay of Oxfordshire. {After Phillips.) canal to the summit of the spine being 0,121 (4*75 inches).Except for its superior size this specimen cannot be dis-tinguished from the type dorsals of C. ooconiensis. Thespecimen is adult. Purchased, 1858. 33289. Eight associated dorsal vertebrae of a young individual ofthis or the next species; from the Oxford Clay of Wey-mouth. The neural arches are separate from the one specimen the dimensions of the centrum are:-—length 0,025 (0-86 inch), height 0,030 (1-16 inches), width0,035 (1-36 inches). Purchased, 1858. 46487.
