Sumberged, petrified ancient forest on the beach at Borth, Ceredigion, further revealed by the January storms of 2014.
January storms which battered the west Wales coast have further revealed the remains of an ancient submerged forest which once existed on what is now part of Cardigan Bay. Other archaeological finds, including a Bronze Age wattle walkway have also been uncovered as sand and stones were washed away by the terrific tides.
