Kemerov Roman Bridge, Rodopi mountains, Eastern Europe, Bulgaria
The Kemerov Bridge is an arch bridge, 30 meters in length, 3 meters wide and 6 meters high. It arches as a bow over the Devinska River and strongly holds both of its ends on the rocky banks of the river. The Roman road for Philipopol has passed through the bridge. Until 1912 the Kemerov bridge was a borderline, its western part belonged to the Bulgarians and his eastern part to the Turks.
