Nasonex spray for nasal rhinitis. Nasonex comes in the form of an aqueous suspension, within a pump dispenser, for delivery via the nostrils. Nasonex contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate, a form of corticosteroid. Corticosteroids control inflammatory responses and therefore are used in the localised treatment of allergic rhinitis (nasal allergies). Each squirt delivers 50 micrograms of the drug.
