Cividale of the Friuli, is an Italian commune of 11 360 inhabitants of the province of Udine in Friuli-Venice Giulia. Founded by Giulio Cesare with the name of Forum Iulii, from which then has taken the name the whole region, it became the capital longobarda of the Friuli
