The main pub shown in this photo, on the main road, was rebuilt in 1905 but the rear of this side elevation is a later addition and more box-like. A Bass gallows sign sits over the pavement to the main road. The pub later became "Buddys" and later still the Conservative Club once they'd moved from Prince's Street.
