FILE: 27th Mar, 2018. Mother of three, Tracey Smith has Lynch Syndrome and survived bowel cancer at age 33 whereas her cousin who also had the rare genetic disorder didn't at the age of 20. Of her three children, one has the genetic defect, one doesn't and her youngest Cian, at age 13 (now 15), has to wait until he is 16 before he is tested. He'd much rather it be done sooner.
