Georgia Army National Guard Lt. Col. Jean Paul Laurenceau (Georgia Military Institute Officer Candidate School Class 42) presents 2nd Lt. Cory Gibson (GMI OCS Class 57) with the physical fitness award during the commissioning ceremony for OCS Class 57 at the Clay National Guard Center, Marietta, Ga. The award recognizes the officer candidate with the highest score on the Army Physical Fitness Test. Gibson also took home the Erickson Trophy and Academic Award for his class.
