An historic sketch of the Greyhound Inn at Ferrybridge, Yorkshire, UK, one of three old coaching inns in the town. The others being the Swan and the Angel. The Greyhound survived the other two in keeping its license. though part of it was converted into private dwellings. Mary Moody, in 1803 took her son-in-law, Samuel Rusby, into partnership. Rusby was formerly a wine and spirit merchant at Pontefract in partnership with Edward Trueman. He still carried on the business after the death of his mother-in-law, and horsed the Rockingham and the Express coaches.
