Kielder Water Mini Golf Course - 'Mapping', Designed by Wolfgang Weileder
'Mapping' is Northumbrian Water's minigolf course based on maps of the Kielder area; one of the present landscape and the other dating from before Kielder Water was built. A water feature flowing down the middle of the course represents where the River Tyne used to flow with start points and end holes identified by local place names spread out across the colourful playing surface. The difference between this and other minigolf courses is that there is no single order that holes need to be played and different combinations of start and end points may be used to suit different skill levels.
