A beautiful free-flowering Mexican bulb; flowers pure waxy white, star shaped, two inches and over in diameter borne on long slender stems; the petals are very thick and leathery and will last for days when cut and placed in water, ioc. each, 75c. per doz. MUSA ENSETE .—(Abyssinian Banana.) The fruit of this variety is not edible, but the leaves are magnificent, long, broad and massive, of a beau- tiful green, with a broad crimson midrib: the plant grows luxuriantly from 8 to 12 feet high. When planted out, it grows rapidly and attains gigantic pro- portions, producing a tropical effect on the lawn, ter- race, or flower garden. It can be stored in a light cellar or cool greenhouse during the Winter, with a covering of soil, or planted in a tub, watered sparingly. Plants 8 to 12 inches high, 50c; 15 to 18 inches, 75c; 20 to 30 inches, $ The two larger sizes cannot be sent by mail. MARANTA PULCHELLUM. A beautiful foliage plant for Wardian cases and ferneries, with broad light green foliage, finely 6triped with deep velvety green; requires a warm, moist atmosphere. 25c.
