Ihave done this with good success not onlyin rivers, but also in the open sea and alongtide-rifts in the passes. This method of fishing has, however, onegreat drawback: if you are trolling with alive mullet, it soon dies, and revolveslike a pinwheel. Most cut baits will dothe same, as spinners will also; and nonumber of swivels or anti-kinkers willprevent your hne from being ruined inshort order.
