The height of the berry season isreached this week, and before anotherweek comes round raspberries will havebegun to drop from the market. Thishas been a very good season for thequantity of berries oHering, and thequality, too, especially of the late ar-rivals, has been good. There was somedissatisfaction with the early berries,due to too much sun and too little rain,but the seasonable weather of lategreatly improved those now offering. Imported watermelons, peaches, pearsand bananas are the best of the otherfruit lines placed on the market. SomeDelaware grapes have been offered ineastern Canada, but the season is yettoo early for them. Lemons are goingoil, but pineapples have taken a newlease of life.
