Gliding along between cliff tops above the Jamison Valley at 270 metres, is Australia’s highest cable car, a glass floor Scenic Skyway (cable car) that travels between the Scenic World Main Building and the Skyway East Station at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, approximately a 2-hour drive from Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The Jamison Valley is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area in The Blue Mountains National Park. The vast wilderness of the Blue Mountains consists of thick swathes of an Australian temperate Eucalypt-forest of woodlands, swamps, scrublands, grasslands, wetlands, sandstone cliffs, canyons, and waterfalls as well as an abundance of wildlife.
