E 1905, two weeks after the Toronto Convention, Mrs. Bryner, commissionedby the International Association, assisted in the organization of the asso-ciation work upon a new and more substantial basis. .Twenty-one ofthe twenty-seven states of the republic were represented by nearlyfour hundred delegates. The offer of the International Association toprovide one thousand dollars per year for three years toward the sup-port of work was gratefully accepted, and the convention voted to makespecial efforts to add to this amount from time to time. Rev. John W. Butler, Methodist, of Mexico City, was elected president,and Rev. W. Scott Williams, Presbyterian, of San Luis Potosi, was chosensecretary and treasurer. An executive committee of nine members, repre-senting the different denominations engaged in missionary work in therepublic, was selected, with Dr. Butler as chairman. Rev. Eucario M.
