Thailand: General Phot Phahonyothin (29 March 1887 - 14 February 1947), Prime Minister of Thailand (r. 1933-1938), c. 1930s. General Phraya Phahon Phonphayuhasen, born as Phot Phahonyothin, was a Thai military leader and politician. Part of a group of conspirators known as the 'Four Musketeers', he was a leader in the Khana Ratsadon ('People's Party') that instigated the revolution of 1932 to end Siam's absolute monarchy and establish a constitutional state. He became the Second Prime Minister of Siam in 1933 after ousting his predecessor in a coup d'état. He retired in 1938.
