Palladium of Bohemia, a gothic bronze relief of the Madonna with the child, is one of the most sacred objects and pilgrimages destinations in the Czech Republic. According the legend Saint Ludmila gained it from Saint Methodius and than gave it to her grandson Saint Wenceslas. He wore it around his neck in the day he was murdered by his brother in Stara Boleslav.
